The process whereby individuals prepare for full initiation into the Catholic Church is the Catechumenate. It focuses on ongoing conversion and growth in response to God’s call to the individual. Members of the parish are involved as worshiping community, sponsors, and in many other ways. Sessions are held weekly, from September through Pentecost. This process is for adults (unbaptized or baptized) who wish to learn about the Catholic Faith. We also have a “Children’s Catechumenate” for youth of catechetical age who have not been baptized.
SCHOOL OF RELIGION
Our School of Religion serves the children of the parish, first grade through junior high. Classes are held on Sunday morning from 9:30-10:30 AM from September to May. We invite and encourage our 7th and 8th grade students to continue their studies in the School of Religion.
We attempt to give each student a vital experience of his/her faith. Our classes are staffed by volunteer catechists and assistants. We are always happy to welcome new students to our program, even those with no previous religious education. They will be placed in their appropriate grade level and receive any special attention that is necessary.

ADULT FAITH FORMATION
This team is comprised of dedicated parishioners committed to fostering a parish community that is vitally alive in faith. The Adult Faith Formation team consists of three areas: Curriculum, Communication-Marketing, and Evangelization. Team leaders from each area make up the Adult Faith Formation Core Team who represent their area and report on their progress.
Adult enrichment opportunities that are planned will be guided by the “six dimensions” established by the USCCB: (1)Knowledge of the Faith, (2)Liturgical Life, (3)Moral Formation, (4)Prayer (5)Communal Life, and (6)Missionary Spirit.
FAITH SHARING GROUP
Every other Tuesday we meet from 9:45-11:15AM in the Parish Hall for coffee, doughnuts, fellowship, and discussion.
